Following a full kitchen refurbishment in 2007 The White Hart serves only the highest quality home-cooked traditional bar food. Our food is prepared on the premises freshly to your order and is good food, not necessarily fast food. Fresh local produce is sourced whenever possible including meats supplied by Clarkes of Halesworth and fish from Darren Smith of Lowestoft.

Two separate menus provide for lunch and evening dinner. You can choose from one to five courses and the main menu includes steaks, fish, salads, pasta and vegetarian options.

Families are welcome and we have toddlers and children's menus and high chairs available.

Meals can be taken either in the main bar or the dining room at the rear. During the summer months meals can also be enjoyed in the beer garden overlooking Fromus Square.

The dining room is also available for that special occasion or function, private parties for up to 25 persons can be catered for, and the menu can be designed to suit.
